JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Duval County Public Schools are making sure students don’t go hunger through its summer program.

The district said it’s offering free breakfast and lunch to children ages 18 and younger through the Summer BreakSpot program.

Students can pick up at school and non-school locations throughout the county.

Those locations can be found by:

  • Clicking here, then finding the “Find a Site” tab
  • Texting FOODFL to 877-877
  • Dialing 2-1-1

Operation times vary and both meals need to be picked up separately.

The district said it will no longer offer curbside pick-up, instead students will need to go inside their assigned location.

Menus for school locations are available by visiting duvalschools.nutrislice.com.

The federal program is offered annually to prevent child hunger while school is out. Meal pick-ups will run now through July 30.
