JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Dozens of callers rang the Action News Jax newsroom Thursday evening after hearing a loud boom.
Calls came from all over the city, from St. Augustine to Arlington, and Orange Park. Some even said their house shook and it sounded like someone jumped on their roof.
What they heard was most likely a sonic boom after a SpaceX Dragon capsule splashed down just off the coast.
