CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — A local woman posted on social media that she trashed all of her children's Halloween candy after she said she found a needle in it.
The woman said her family trick-or-treated in the Pine Ridge neighborhood Wednesday.

She said when they returned home, her niece snapped a Kit Kat in half and found a needle. The woman said there was also a needle found in her Reese's Cup.
Deputies are in the neighborhood working to find out where the tampered candy came from.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office said the candy was not ingested.
"When you are going to target our kids,then we are going to use every resource we can and generate something and find out where this came from,” CCSO Assistant Chief Keith Smith said.
