Kid Care Report: Two Jacksonville day cares head into 2020 with clean state inspections

Two day cares in Jacksonville are headed into the new year with a clean state inspection -- and for one of the day cares, it’s not its first.

University of North Florida Preschool is open to students, faculty and the general public at UNF. It serves children ages 2 and a half to 5 years old.

In its latest Department of Children and Families inspection, the day care was 100% compliant and had no issues.

Bereola checked its records and found it only had one violation since 2017.

The other day care in this week’s Kid Care Report is Hogan Lane Day Care. There were about 40 kids at the day care when the inspector dropped by and no issues were reported.

Bereola also looked through its past inspections and found it has never had a violation.
