JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —
We’re taking a closer look at an especially violent weekend in Jacksonville that resulted in nine shootings between Saturday and Monday morning.

According to Action News Jax records, Jacksonville has had more than 30 shootings so far this year.
From Saturday to early Monday morning, nine unrelated shootings injured ten people and killed one woman.
The shooting that left one woman dead was on Baymeadows Road at around 7 p.m. Sunday night.

It’s near Michael Ennis’ home.
“Man it’s crazy, I see the tape everywhere I’m just wondering, what’s going on man, I mean I have kids and stuff,” he said.
Another shooting on San Jose Boulevard happened earlier that day when a man confronted another man who seemed to be breaking into a car.

“He started shooting at me, bam bam bam bam bam I turned to run and I fell down. Then he walked up on top of me and he shot me,” said Charles Wolfla. “I’m lucky, I could be dead.”
Then, Monday morning at around 1 a.m. off Beach Boulevard.

JSO says a man who was with a woman got into an argument with another man, and the men began to shoot each other.
“We need to come up with different ways for people to resolve these issues instead of trying to kill each other and shoot each other,” said AJ Jordan, the outreach coordinator for the nonprofit MAD DADS Jacksonville Chapter.
