25-year-old man arrested in Bartram Park rape case

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man police identified as the suspect in a rape near Bartram Park has been arrested.

The identity of the suspect, Sion Khadeem Henry, 25, was released Friday afternoon by police.

Within two-and-a-half hours of releasing Henry's photo to the public, he was captured. Police said Henry was leaving his job at a landscaping business on Friday near San Jose Boulevard and Loretto Road when he was taken into custody by police.

Henry was arrested on robbery and sexual battery charges.

The alleged rape in Bartram Park occurred on Feb. 19 when the victim told police she was attacked and sexually assaulted in the woods behind a shopping center on Old St. Augustine Road. The victim told police her toddler was in a stroller just feet away from her when she was attacked.
