49 unsolved murders in Jacksonville

DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — There are 49 unsolved murders in the Jacksonville area as of Dec. 12, said the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

According to numbers Action News requested last week from JSO there have been 90 murders in Duval County. Both of the numbers received are for only the year 2014.

On CBS47 Action News beginning at 5 p.m., Letisha Bereola is reaching out to JSO sheriff’s candidates to see how they plan on impacting the numbers.
