A North Jacksonville family is searching for its pet tortoise of 15 years, Flash.
Jane, the owner, says Flash, a 90-pound desert tortoise, ran away Tuesday night.

Flash was able to push through a weakened portion of the family's fence, according to Jane, who said she hadn't been able to fix the fence right away because had undergone surgery.
The family now had signs around the neighborhood, but Jane is worried that someone will mistakenly put him in water, which would cause him to drown.
Jane said a neighbor spotted Flash near Pecan Road and Main Street and is asking anyone who sees him to call her at 904-994-1574.
