The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of Eric Shaun Bridges on charges of attempted murder for allegedly beating, tying up and dragging a victim for two blocks from a van Friday

The victim is still in life-threatening condition.

Police said they determined the van Bridges allegedly drove was stolen while they were investigating the violent crime. After gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses, they were able to locate and arrest Bridges mid-day Sunday.
