A South Florida alligator took a dip Tuesday morning in a pool near Hobe Sound, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office said.
Sheriff’s officials removed the gator from a family’s pool outside a home on Southeast Sandpipe Lane, west of Southeast Federal Highway and north of Southeast Bridge Road. According to sheriff’s officials, the gator snuck into a gated community.
Last week sheriff’s officials relocated a sleepy 4-foot alligator that was snuggled under a car in Martin County. The gator was moved to a nearby canal, the sheriff’s office said.
It is unclear what sheriff’s officials will do with the gator found in the pool.
