MELBOURNE, Fla. — The Amber Alert for 15-year-old Sophia Diaz has been canceled after the teen was found safe, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement announced just after 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
The Palm Bay Police Department had issued an Amber Alert just after midnight for Sophia, who had last been seen in Melbourne.
Officers said the teen was located in Fair Play, South Carolina. Two suspects, Karis Diaz and Curtis Clemons, were arrested and have been charged with felony interference with child custody, police said.
