JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two people were shot around 2:49 a.m. at the Regency Inn, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says.

Action News Jax reporter Brittney Donovan is at the inn providing live updates throughout the morning on CBS47/FOX30.
Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital, and one is currently in critical condition but stable.
Right now, investigators have some areas within the motel blocked off and are speaking to witnesses.
