JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The mother of Taylor Rose Williams, who is charged with child neglect and lying to police in connection with her daughter’s disappearance, will now face a judge on Jan. 2.
Brianna Williams’ arraignment was supposed to take place Dec. 18, but on Friday, the arraignment was moved to Jan. 2.

Originally, Williams was supposed to appear in court on Dec. 4, but the day before, the court date was changed to Dec. 18.
Action News Jax first told you on Nov. 6 when Brianna Williams told police her 5-year-old daughter was missing. Taylor was then the subject of an Amber Alert.
We reached out to the Florida Department of Children and Families that day to see if the family had a history; they got back to us and said they never had an open investigation on Williams.
On Nov. 25, authorities confirmed that human remains found in Demopolis, Alabama, were that of Taylor Williams.
