The father of a 9-year-old boy with Down syndrome believes his son was abused by a paraprofessional at Yulee Primary School.
Action News Jax learned there is an open investigation into one of the school's paraprofessionals.
Donald Green, the boy’s father, said he knew his son was in distress after he came home with soiled pants.

“My son was either battered or abused by one of the paraprofessionals in his classroom,” Green said.
Three employees reported Tammy Youngblood grabbed Green's son by the ear and led him to his seat, according to a report.
“She was manipulating him, forcing him up off the floor out of his seat by his ears,” Green said.
Action News Jax went to Youngblood’s home to talk about the allegations, but no one came to the door
We reached out to the district twice for comment but haven't heard back.

Yulee Primary has been the center of previous investigations involving special needs personnel and a teacher's aide.
In September, allegations surfaced of employees yanking things out of children's hands and telling children to "quit whining."
The Florida Department of Children and Families launched an investigation, but two months later, no signs of abuse were found.
