Action News Jax reporter Ryan Nelson was the only reporter to speak to Gover’s mother, Cynthia Gover, on Saturday night. Cynthia Gover says her daughter was a mother of three children --- two girls and a boy, who are between the ages of 3 and 8.
“She loved her kids,” said Cynthia Gover. "Whatever happened to her, she did not deserve it. And I just hope that anyone who has any information about this crime would just come forward.”

Cynthia Grover tells Action News Jax she was shopping for Christmas gifts for her grandchildren when she learned of the discovery. Cynthia Grover said she got a call from her mother, Brittney Grover’s grandmother, informing her the police were at their home.
“So I,” Cynthia paused, recounting the moments she learned the news. “It’s just (a) shock…”
Deputies and family alike say they need your help in finding the person or persons responsible for the killing.
“It would be a relief off my chest to let me know, why did this happen?” said Cynthia Gover.
Brittney Gover's criminal history reveals that she was recently arrested for trespassing Dec. 5. She was arrested in the past and faced charges for battery, violation of probation, use or possession with intent to use of drug paraphernalia and three charges for petit theft.
“Anyone with information that may assist in this investigation is asked to contact Detective Dave Mancini at (904) 259-9218, or if you wish to remain anonymous you are asked to call First Coast Crime Stoppers at 866-845-8477 (TIPS),” deputies said in a post on social media.
