Jacksonville, Fla — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday the passing of Police Auxiliary Sergeant Louis “Lou” Livatino from complications from Coronavirus.
The JSO family is saddened by the loss of Police Auxiliary Sergeant Louis “Lou” Livatino following a tough battle of COVID-19 complications.

In a post by the Fraternal Order of Police Sgt. Livatino is described as a dedicated family man and a man who served our community for free. According to Sheriff Mike Williams Livatino had volunteered his time with the agency for nearly a decade.
Lou, a United States Navy veteran, also served on JSO’s Honor Guard, a position Sheriff Williams says he cherished.
JSO says final preparations are being arrange with Livatino’s family and they will share this information when the public when available.
