JACKSONVILLE, Fla — After 15 years and multiple demolition attempts, the Berkman II Plaza...lives to see another month. Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry tweeted out “Due to supply chain issues that have delayed delivery of safety equipment, the implosion of the Berkman II is postponed.” No definitive date has been given by Curry believes it will likely be in November.

Plans to demolish the notable eyesore were in April with destruction to begin in July
Then in August, instability issues caused the city to change plans.
Now it’s set to be imploded in November...hopefully.
