Jacksonville, Fl — The St. Johns County Fire-Rescue Department is appealing to residents to be more vigilant while driving. During the month of March, there were 28 vehicle-pedestrian crashes.

SJCFR is reminding pedestrians and bicyclist to cross roadways safely by using crosswalks, cross and corners, and obey pedestrian signals.

Drivers need to remember to look for pedestrians and bicyclists when turning, and keep in mind that when a car is stopped ahead of you, there may be a pedestrian crossing.

The map below, provided by SJCFR, details the location and date of each crash.
