According to Murdock, when they wandered down to the dock, they noticed even more deputies on the water.
There were "police boats and they were heading north up the intracoastal with their lights on and stuff," he said.
The St.Johns County Sheriff's Office said a boater noticed a body floating in the water near the Riverview Club around 8:30 a.m.
An Action News Jax crew was at the Vilano boat ramp when the deputies delivered the body for an autopsy.
