Boil water notice for St. Marys residents due to storm damage

ST. MARYS, Ga. — Residents in downtown St. Mary are asked to boil their water due to multiple water main breaks on Norris Street as a result of Tropical Storm Elsa.

Residents in the area who are experiencing water outages or low pressure are advised to boil all water before using it.

Water should be boiled for at least one minute.

When there is a water boil notice, this means that there are potential health hazard from the water.

Anyone in the area who has any questions about the issue are asked to call St. Marys Public Work Department at 912-882-4415.
