ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Alleged thieves accused of stealing from the St. Augustine Outlets led Florida Highway Patrol troopers on a chase through St. Johns and Duval counties on Interstate 95 on Monday afternoon.
FHP said three people were caught by Troop G stealing from the Ralph Lauren store.

Troopers pursued a Jeep Compass on I-95 north into Jacksonville and was able to stop the vehicle by using a PIT (pursuit intervention technique) maneuver.
In the video, one of the persons of interest is seen jumping out of the Jeep and running alongside the road.
FHP said it recovered over $2,000 of stolen merchandise and there is no longer a hazard to the public.
