Clara White Mission hosts “Red Ribbon & Bowtie Day Gala” to support homeless services

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Clara White Mission has announced the “Red Ribbon & Bowtie Day Gala”, the signature fundraising event supporting critical services for the homeless.

The gala is scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the historic Scottish Rite.

The Day Gala promises fine dining, live entertainment, and community camaraderie. This is a formal event and guests are encouraged to wear red to symbolize unity and compassion for the underserved in our city.

Highlights of the event include:

  • Culinary Delights prepared by the Mission’s Chef Bobby Burns and Culinary Arts Chef Michelle Wilson and students.
  • Inspirational Stories from those whose lives have been transformed by the Mission’s programs.
  • Sponsorship includes: The Fiorentino Group, North Florida Sales, Merdian Waste, CSX, Pinnacle Bank, Thermed Medical Clinic, Vestcor, and Premier Grocery Store.

“Every ticket purchased, and every donation made to the gala brings us closer to giving hope and dignity to those who need it most,” said Ju’Coby Pittman, CEO of the Clara White Mission. “This is an opportunity for our community to come celebrate the progress we’ve made together, and continue the work ahead.”
