Deputies said Cierra Smith was allegedly following Sheriff Darryl Daniels with a loaded gun in her car.
Smith is also accused of breaking into an ex-husband’s home in September. Action News Jax has been reporting on that case out of North Carolina since February.
As of Monday night, Smith remained employed as a corrections officer in the Duval County Jail.
JSO Sheriff Mike Williams is recommending Smith be fired.
Action News Jax has learned Smith was arrested for domestic criminal trespass for that September incident after allegedly taking a laptop, multiple watches and clothes from the home.

She was taken into custody, but not arrested after Daniels said he did not want to press charges.
Monday, Action News Jax got a hold of a nearly 400-page JSO Internal Affairs investigative report involving Smith.
Smith is accused of six counts, including commission of conduct supporting criminal acts, domestic criminal trespass, departure from the truth, and unbecoming conduct.
One claim that she and Daniels had sex while she was in a JSO uniform was unfounded, but documents show Smith texted Daniels, “I wanted to [expletive] you so bad in your office tonight.”
Daniels -- a married man -- did admit to a previous sexual relationship with Smith.
Daniels was out of the state Monday and did not want to comment.
Action News Jax has not been able to get Smith's contact information to hear her side of the story.
Smith is scheduled to appear May 31 before the Sheriff’s disciplinary hearing board.
