MIDDLEBURG, Fla. — A Clay County bus crashed with 26 students on board after a cat ran across the street Wednesday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
FHP said the bus driver, 44, swerved to avoid hitting a cat and subsequently crashed into a mailbox.
The crash happened at 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of Whisper Creek Boulevard and Ravens Trace Lane in Middleburg.
FHP said no injuries were reported.
