CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — Nearly two dozen Clay County teachers got quite the surprise via video call.
They won a share of $20,000 in grant money that will be used to pay for innovative ideas in their classrooms or schools.
Some past projects have included everything from ways to increase literacy scores to learning how to operate 3-D printers.
The grants are funded through a partnership with the Clay Education Foundation, Community Cares First Foundation and the Consortium of Florida Education Foundations.
