CLAY COUNTY, Fla. — The superintendent for the Clay County School District is taking a new job.
The Hillsborough County School Board has hired Addison Davis to take over superintendent duties for its district.

He is currently Clay County Superintendent where he has helped increase the graduation rate to 91.9% and the percentage of "A" and "B" schools to 92%. pic.twitter.com/Qvi58EHppt

During his time in Clay County, Davis helped increase the graduation rate and the number of A- and B-rated schools in the county.
There will be a local election to replace Davis in November.
