JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A young girl was seriously injured from a stabbing in the area of Old Orange Park Road Wednesday.
The Orange Park Police Department responded to the area around 5 p.m. Since then, a young boy has been detained for questioning.
The young girl has not been identified but police say she is in a critical yet stable condition.
Details are limited as the investigation into what led to the incident continues.
Police say there is no threat to the community.
