ORANGE PARK, Fla. — The Loop is deciding to let the lease expire at another one of its Jacksonville-area locations.

The restaurant chain, known for its burgers, pizzas, tomato bisque soup and shakes, said its Orange Park location will close on Wednesday, Feb. 15.

In a Facebook post, the restaurant said it would be relocating all employees to existing stores.

Customers that frequent the Wells Road location can use 10% off coupons at the Fleming Island, Mandarin and Avondale locations.

However, even though this location is closing, the restaurant said it “plans to open a new Northeast Florida store in the World Golf Village and is also interested in additional Florida locations in Sawgrass, Oakleaf, and the North Jacksonville area, as well as additional locations in North Carolina.”

In November, The Loop did not renew the lease at its St. Johns Town Center location and said in a Facebook post at that time that the restaurant would be “focusing our energy on other locations and expansion plans for 2023.”

In addition to its Northeast Florida locations, the Jacksonville-based chain also has five restaurants open in North Carolina.
