Columbia Co. Disaster Recovery Center closing

Lake City, Fla. — If you live in Columbia County and you still need federal assistance repairing a hurricane-damaged home, your time is running out to apply in person.

The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Lake City will close permanently on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 5 p.m.

The DRC is located at the Lake City Reporter, 180 East Duval Street.

If you can’t make it to the DRC, you can still apply for assistance online or by phone.

Online requests can be made at DisasterAssistance.gov or by using the FEMA app.
