Right now, deputies are searching for a double shooting suspect. Deputies said Eddie Murphy is considered armed and dangerous.
On Friday, deputies said Murphy walked into a Lake City home with a gun and a mask on, demanding money.
When the homeowner didn’t give him cash, deputies said Murphy shot him and a 16-year-old boy.
A neighbor who didn’t want to be identified told Action News Jax the teen was shot five times and ran to her house for help.

“He just kept saying, 'I was shot, I was shot, I was shot,'” she said.
She said it was cold Friday night when the shooting happened, so she covered him up with a blanket and stayed by his side until help arrived.

“I just stayed there on the ground with him, and he kept telling me, 'Don’t let me die, don’t let me die.' He had turned his head just in time that the bullet grazed this way. (It) did a lot of damage, but it didn’t go into his brain. The one in his side stopped right before his spine, and the one in his hip stopped just right before it hit his intestines,” the neighbor said.
Deputies said Murphy was possibly driving a silver, 2007 Hyundai Sonata.
