To be more secure, people are using virtual private networks, or VPNs, when using the internet, but, are you using the right one?
Our Consumer Warrior Clark Howard says sometimes a deal isn’t a deal when it comes to VPNs. Clark suggests staying away from free VPNs and using one that you pay for saying some free ones “do a little spying of their own.”
One of the VPNs Clark recommends is Proton, “it has incredibly good safety and security precautions to keep your personal information, personal and private.”
Clark adds that “not any VPN will work. Be very wary, very careful when you choose one.”
