Convicted former JEA CEO Aaron Zahn is in federal prison

EDGEFIELD, South Carolina — Former JEA CEO Aaron Zahn is listed as a federal prisoner Tuesday morning, according to a government inmate website. Zahn, 45, is in custody at the Edgefield, S.C., Federal Correctional Institution.

A jury found Zahn guilty in March 2023 on conspiracy and wire fraud charges. He was sentenced to 48 months in prison.

Prosecutors say he tried to make millions by selling JEA in 2019.
