The prosecution in Brown's fraud case is expected to wrap up its case Thursday.
The prosecution said Wednesday that Brown claimed tens of thousands of dollars in donations of cash, checks, and items to various local non-profits in recent years. The records from those groups are showing things don’t add up.
That accusation comes after Brown's former chief of staff, Ronnie Simmons, told the jury Wednesday that Brown not only knew about stealing money from his girlfriend's so-called "bogus charity," she directed him to do it.
Prosecution expected to rest its case today. Then it's the defense's turn. #CorrineBrown could take the stand today. @ActionNewsJax pic.twitter.com/ROuVGG587O
