JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A person drowned after falling off a dock on Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office identified the victim as Gerald Sohn, 84.
Rescue crews were called to the 6000 block of San Jose Boulevard after a person fell from a dock into the St. Johns River around 2:30 p.m., officials said.
Crews got the person out of the water, but were not able to resuscitate the victim.
Officers are investigating the drowning as an undetermined death.
