JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One person is dead and three people were seriously hurt after a crash on U.S. 301 near Summerfield Lane on Thursday morning, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
FHP said a 59-year-old woman from Baldwin driving a sedan was pulling out of a driveway and tried pulling onto the grass median when she was hit by a pickup truck.

Two children ages four and seven were also in the car and were seriously hurt.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 28-year-old from Callahan, was also seriously hurt.
