Detective from JSO and deputy from SJC help citizen while off duty performing CPR

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Detective Brittany Wallace, and her husband St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Nathan Wallace, helped a citizen who was in distress.

The couple was traveling to an event while they stopped at a traffic signal and saw another car that appeared to be unresponsive.

They removed the driver out of the car and Detective Brittany performed CPR. Deputy Nathan got his issued AED from his patrol car.

Deputy Nathan attached the AED and shock was delivered to the victim reviving them. The victim was transported to the local hospital and was breathing on his own.
