NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. — At around 3:40 p.m. on Sunday, the Florida Highway Patrol reported that a pickup truck traveling eastbound on River Road in Nassau County crashed into a tree.

The truck ran off the road to the left resulting in the crash. The 22-year-old man behind the wheel was transported to a local hospital, where doctors later said he died from his injuries.
FHP said that the driver was wearing a seat belt during the accident.
