JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The All Pro Dad experience returned to TIAA Bank Field Saturday morning and Action News Jax was there for all the fun.
The event promotes fatherhood involvement, and former NFL linebacker Lonnie Marts made an appearance.
The event was hosted by the Tampa nonprofit Family First, and the Florida Department of Education.
It welcomed kids ages 4 through 12 to take on different drills with their dads or dad figures.
Jared Ochs, Director of Legislative Affairs for FDOE, told Action News Jax it was important for FDOE to show its support because studies show the more involvement a father has in a child’s life, the more the child will excel academically.
