JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — A total of $18,000 in reward money is now being offered for information in the Feb. 16 murder of Jared Bridegan.
33-year-old Bridegan, a father of four, was killed in the 3700 block of Sanctuary Way South in Jacksonville Beach on Feb. 16.
The Jacksonville Beach Police Department said he was shot multiple times in front of his two-year-old daughter.
One neighbor’s security camera recorded multiple shots fired in the area.
On Feb. 22, First Coast Crime Stoppers increased its standard reward from $3,000 to an $8,000 reward. On Monday, March 7, First Coast Crime Stoppers added an additional $5,000 to its reward, bringing the total offered by First Coast Crime Stoppers to $13,000.
In addition to the First Coast Crime Stoppers reward, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is assisting JBPD in the investigation by also offering $5,000 for information on the murder of Bridegan. This reward was announced on Feb. 24.
Multiple agencies have joined the investigation, including The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and ATF.
