JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Soon there will be one less place for families at the beaches to buy groceries.
According to an employee at Lucky’s Market in Neptune Beach, the store is set to close for good on Feb. 12.
“The two spots that I go to – Native and now this is closing it’s definitely a bummer for the area I think," Chris Bocklet said.

Action News Jax told you in 2019 when Native Sun, another grocer, closed down. That is when Bocklet started shopping at Lucky’s.
“It’s a total bummer. I feel like there’s not a lot of fresh produce places here. They have Native Sun now that Lucky’s is closing I don’t know where to go next," Bocklet said.
The Lucky’s Market location in Jacksonville’s Oakleaf neighborhood is also closing according to a Facebook post on the companies Facebook page.
