JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Southside apartment complex is suing Brianna Williams for overdue rent after evicting her for violating several terms of her lease.
In a legal complaint, the company that owns Paradise Islands Apartments said it served Williams with a seven-day notice of termination of her lease on Nov. 27, two weeks after Williams was charged with child neglect and giving false information to police.
The lawsuit alleges that Williams engaged in “prohibited conduct” by engaging in criminal activity. Williams’ arrest also violated her lease agreement.
Williams owes $4,597.79 to the apartment complex, according to the complaint.
