JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — It’s a busy day for the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue team.
Earlier today, crews responded to a house fire on the 3000 block of Commonwealth Ave., a fire that shut down Commonwealth Ave. and created significant damage to a single-family home.
The whole backside of the house is burnt out.
According to JFRD, no one was injured in the fire but two adults were displaced, and Red Cross was requested.
While crews were battling the fire, JFRD tweeted that Command ordered all crew members to come out of the house.
The fire was under control, and the house was clear after a search around 10:15 a.m.

This afternoon, crews responded to another house fire, at the 1600 block of 7th St. W, where one victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Fire Marshall was requested to respond to the scene.
