JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — September 4th is a special day in Duval, it’s ‘904 Day’, which is a grassroots movement that has been celebrated for years in Jacksonville.
Small businesses are celebrating all around town and you can too, by supporting all things local. From clothing boutiques to independent restaurants and attractions, local businesses are the heartbeat of the community.
Multiple vendors are ready for a full day of celebration at the Beaches Green Market at Penman Park.

Downtown on the Riverfront Plaza is the 2nd Jax Taco Fest with a variety of tacos, margaritas, live entertainment, and a kids zone.
The Jumbo Shrimp are celebrating all things Jacksonville with teal jerseys and a jersey auction at their 6:30 p.m. game vs. Durham at 121 Financial Ballpark.
According to the Small Business Administration, Florida has more than 2.7 million small businesses — representing 99.8% of businesses across the state.
