Coronavirus pandemic: Cinotti’s Bakery offering free meals to health care workers, senior citizens

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — A Jacksonville Beach bakery is offering free meals to health care workers and the elderly stuck at home because of the coronavirus.

“We always try to put the community first. That’s who we are, our heart. We are for the people,” said Michelle Vining, owner of Cinotti’s Bakery.

Vining said if you have an elderly neighbor or family member who is homebound, call the bakery.

“We ask that they call ahead, let us know when they are coming. We have a soup and a grilled cheese and a fancy cupcake to pick from,” Vining said.

Vining is hoping this food will boost their energy, and their spirits.

“We are praying for you during this pandemic, knowing you are stuck at home or stuck at the hospital; we just really appreciate you,” she said.

If you want to pick up some food for an elderly person, or someone who’s stuck at home, call 904-246-1728 and give Cinotti’s Bakery a heads-up before you come in.
