DCPS no longer requires masks for staff, visitors after drop in COVID-19 cases

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Duval County Public Schools has made some changes to its COVID-19 policy.

Following a drop in COVID-19 cases, staff and visitors are no longer required to wear masks, though they are still strongly encouraged to do so.

Additionally, all restrictions on arts and athletic venues have been lifted.

DCPS still recommends that students and staff who are sick remain at home and that social distancing should still be practiced.
