EASTSIDE JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, a man who police believe was 18 years old was shot and killed at Oakland Terrace Apartments in the Eastside neighborhood of Jacksonville Sunday evening.

JSO said it’s unsure of what led up to the shooting, but that multiple rounds were fired.

Neighbors told Action News Jax Meghan Moriarty they heard nine gunshots go off, and that they say a gray car drive away from the complex heading north on Bridier Street afterwards.
Police didn’t release any suspect information at a media briefing Sunday night.
