JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATED STORY: The City’s Administration discussed Lot J early last week and have indicated that the Lot J legislation will be complete and filed for introduction on Oct. 27. A public hearing will follow on Nov. 10.
Afterwards, the City Council will take final action on Nov. 19 if all of their questions are answered during prior meetings.
ORIGINAL STORY: The development project for Lot J, a parking area near the Jacksonville Jaguars Stadium, is back on. This project was first announced in 2018 with the goal of bringing hotels and entertainment to the area.
On Oct. 5, at 12:05 p.m. Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry will reveal the plans and legislation for the development of Lot J. He will be joined by the Jaguars leadership and members of the Jacksonville City Council.
