JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Update 11 a.m.: All lanes of the Mathews Bridge have reopened and traffic is flowing normally.
Update 9:32 a.m.: The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office told Action News Jax one lane on the Mathews Bridge has opened. Traffic is still heavily congested, but is improving.
A five-car crash with injuries on the Mathews Bridge heading east is causing major delays in the area.
Traffic alert....5 Vehicle accident eastbound on the Matthews Bridge with injuries..... expect delays.
