JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Five women were arrested on suspicion of prostitution in a sting near the Town Center.
Police said five suspected prostitutes thought they were meeting clients at a hotel. It turns out they were meeting detectives. According to documents, detectives contacted the women, Brieana Holmes, Asia Gaines, Kristin Balok, Candy Yates, and Jessica Irwin, through an internet ad and set up a place to meet.

Investigators aren’t saying which hotel or motel, but they said it happened in the Town Center Parkway area. There are at least eight hotels or motels in that area. According to a report, when the undercover detectives arrived Friday night, they said five women each offered to perform a sex act for between $100 and $300. The women are between the ages of 23 and 49. According to police, three of them said they were addicted to drugs.
According to records, Yates and Balok have been arrested on prostitution charges before.
