JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE 11 A.M.:
Around 8 a.m. officers found a man in the intersection of Brannon Ave. & Fire Tower Rd. with multiple gunshot wounds, according to JSO.
The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
JSO said the suspect is currently on the run, and there is no suspect information at this time.
JSO could not say if there were witnesses in the area at the time.

There is a heavy police presence in a residential area at the intersection of Brannon Avenue and Fire Tower Road in Jacksonville.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating a reported shooting. The scene is not far from 103rd Street.
Officers have roads in the area blocked off at this time. Action News Jax has a crew in the area working to learn more information.
Police are expected to give an update at 10:45 a.m.
